Rains and floods affected around 20 lac cotton bales pushing the prices to Rs200 in Punjab. Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association Member Ehsanul Haq said that floods wreaked great havoc in Rahim Yar Khan, Muzaffargarh, DG Khan, Rajanpur, Sanghar, Mirpur Khas, Sukkur and Nawabshah.Rates of cotton per maund has been increased by Rs200 and stands at Rs 7,200 while in Sindh it is being sold at Rs6,250.
