Oil prices remained weaker in Asian trade on Saturday as unemployment is rising sharply in the US. New York's main futures contract, light sweet crude for delivery in August, fell by 81 cents to $72.14cents a barrel. London's Brent North Sea crude for August delivery dropped 69 cents to settle at $71.65 cents.
