KSE index up 33 points despite low volumes

Mixed trend was witnessed at the Karachi Stock Exchange. During the end of the trading session the KSE-100 index closed up 33 points.Trading began on a positive note; however investors were cautious due to low volume. The 100-index closed at 9,715. The trading volume was recorded at 60.33 million shares. Bayco Petroleum was volume leader with 6 million shares.
