WAPDA, HUBCO and KEPCO have paid Rs 14 billion in terms of circular debt. According to sources, WAPDA has paid Rs 3 billion, Hubco Rs 6 billion and KEPCO Rs 5 billion. These arrears are paid under PMs announced package of Rs 41 billion. PSO had threatened to stop the supply of furnace oil for the generation of electricity. According to sources, PSOs Rs 127 billion are still due on WAPDA, HUBCO, KEPCO, PIA and other organizations.
