The Karachi stock market witnessed a bearish trading week despite the fact that companies posted better financial results. The KSE-100 index shed 180 points due to continued selling pressure.The expectations of receiving a fifth installment from IMF could not simulate a buying spree in the market. Results of blue chips were announced during the week. Though, these results were in line or above market expectations, they were unable to stimulate a rally. The KSE index closed at 10428 points.
