Weekly inflation for the last week reached 18.24 percent. According to Federal Bureau of Statistics, inflation rate increased by .63 percent while inflation rate was recorded at 18.24 percent in the same period last year. During the week under review average prices of 12 items registered decrease, while that of 19 items increased with the remaining 22 items prices unchanged. The items which recorded decrease in their average prices during the week under review included, eggs, LPG, sugar, and flour while prices of petrol, diesel, onions, cooking oil Were increased.
