National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has directed the Power distribution companies to decrease electricity tariff by 11 paisa per unit. According to the notification issued by NEPRA the decrease of 11 paisa has been done in accordance with the fuel price adjustment.The decrease in the tariff is applicable on the eight distributing companies including Lesco, Fesco, Gapgo, Iesco, Mepco, Kesco, Pesco and Hesco for the billing month of December 2009. The decrease in tariff would not be applicable on the consumers who use 50 units of electricity. The notification has been dispatched to WAPDA and Ministry of Finance.
