Federal Petroleum Minister Syed Naveed Qamar has said that Pak-Iran gas pipeline accord would be signed before February 15.Talking to media after giving away the licenses for oil and gas exploration in Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan, Qamar said that licenses would be given to 37 new blocks.Licenses have been given to OGDCL, PPL, and POL for the exploration in Mari East, Lakhi Rad, Kharan Estate, Rajan Pur and Dera Ghazi Khan.The covenants have been signed by the company owners and Secretary Petroleum.Director General Gas Naeem Malik has told reporters that currently 4billion cubic feet gas has been produced in the country against the demand of 5billion cubic feet.
