Pakistan imported petroleum products of worth Rs 44.17 billion during December, which is 138 percent higher than last year.According to Federal Bureau of Statistics, during 2009 Pakistan imported crude oil of worth Rs 27.55 billion and machinery to produce electricity worth Rs14.33 billion was imported. During last month, palm oil of worth Rs 8.37 billion and raw cotton of worth Rs 3.75 billion were also imported.During December, basmati rice of worth Rs 5 billion, cotton cloth of worth Rs 11.74 billion and yarn of worth Rs 11.62 billion were exported.
