Summary

It is expected that the contracts of two foreign companies -- who were hired to discover gold and copper reserves in Balochistan would be ended.According to foreign news agency, Minister of Finance Shaukat Tareen said the ongoing work in Recodek is against the interest of the country. Balochistan is rich in reserves of copper and gold. According to an estimate, Balochistan has 11 billion pounds of copper, while 0.9 million ounce of gold reserves. $ 1000 billion profits are expected after the sale of these reserves in the next 25 to 30 years. However if Pakistan does not export its copper in raw form the earning from these reserves could increase by 10 fold.
