The cotton prices hit record high at Rs. 4600/40kg with an addition of Rs 100 in the local market, reported Dunya News. According to sources, cotton purchase increased after the governments announcement of not imposing ban on cottons export. An addition in prices of cotton corps is being recorded after the announcement. The increase in thread export is also influencing cotton market. Dealers say increase in cotton prices in international markets is also affecting local market.
