KSE closes near 9,000 points level

Bullish trend was witnessed at Karachi Stock Exchange on Thursday as the benchmark 100-index closed near to 9,000 points level. Business activity started with a positive note while investors taking advantage of lower prices preferred to do buying due to which the index remained in positive zone all the day. The index once crossed 9,000 barrier. At the end of the day, the benchmark 100-index closed at 8,999 points with an increase of 94 points. Bank of Punjab remained the volume leader.
