Karachi stocks remain volatile

Mixed trend was witnessed at Karachi Stock Exchange on Monday as the benchmark 100-index closed below 9,000 points level with a decrease of 16 points. Business activity started with a positive note while cautious behavior of investors pushed the index into negative zone. Market remained under pressure due to deteriorating law and order situation in the country.At the end of the day, the benchmark 100-index closed at 8,993 points with a decrease of 16 points with trade volume of 72.7 million shares. Jahangir Saddiqi and Company remained the volume leader.
