Utility Stores to provide sugar at Rs 38 per kg: Manzoor Wattoo

The government has announced that the Utility Stores will provide sugar at Rs 30 per kg; however, sugar will be sold from 1pm to 3pm daily. In a press conference in Islamabad, federal minister for production and industries Manzoor Wattoo said that 3 mills in Punjab and 2 in NWFP have TCP sugar and action would be taken against the mills which would block sugar. Manzoor Wattoo said that in next 40 days, 69,272 metric ton sugar would be sold at Utility Stores of all four provinces. On the occasion, MD Utility Stores Arif Khan said that sugar would be sold at Utility Stores from 1pm to 3pm.
