More than 11 percent decrease in the production of oil refinery has been recorded during first quarter of the current fiscal year. According to Invest Cap report, oil refineries refined 2.73 million tons of oil during July-September. This volume was 2.34 million tons during the same period last year. On the contrary, production capability of the industry is sixty one percent at annual basis. During first three months of current fiscal year, production of gas fell by 1.5 percent, kerosene oil by 31 percent and high speed diesel by 8 percent while production of HOBC increased. JP Ones production recorded 3 percent growth. Circular debt and low margin were the main reasons of decrease in oil refineries production.
