Summary Currency note of Rs 500 has had no more value: it is just a mere piece of paper.
The commercial banks would not be able to change it at any cost.The central bank has been issuing notices for many months in this regard. It aimed at make the masses aware of the reality that this note has been no more usable.After today, the State Bank is not bound to change or pay an amount at the cost of it.
