According to the data issued by the State Bank of Pakistan, on March 2, the notes in circulation were worth Rs 17.62 trillion by March 2, but the figure reached Rs 18.50 trillion with an increase of Rs 48.29 billion in a week. According to financial experts, government printed new notes to meet its expenses, causing inflation in the country.
