Heavy rainfalls continue unabated in different areas of the country. In Mardan, seven people were killed including four children when a roof of their house caved in; where as four people were drowned in a monsoon stream. Shahrah-e-Neelam and Shahrah-e-Resham were closed due to heavy landslides. Four shops and a house sunk in the monsoon stream in Bagh and Neelam Valley, while Shahrah-e-Neelam was blocked due to landslide at different areas of Kamsar, Zayarat and Pathaka. Many vehicles have been blocked on both the sides of Shahrah-e-Neelam. Two people in Nagdar village of Neelam Valley and one in Bagh area also drowned in the monsoon stream. Seven people including five children were killed due to falling of a roof in Gatyala area of Mardan. Three PIA flights for Gilgit and Chitral and many other international flights were also delayed due to relentless showers. According to the met office, torrential rains will continue unabated for next twenty four hours in Kashmir, Northern Punjab and NWFP.
