Two clans reached settlement on 9 murder incidents through Jirga in Sukkur as both the clans were fined of Rs 4.25 million, Dunya News reported Sunday.A jirga was held chaired by former provincial minister Mir Manzoor Jan Panhwar to resolve ongoing dispute among Sheikh and Janwari clans in Kandhara, a neighborhood of Sukkur. The Janwari clan was fined Rs 2.95 million for killing 6 people including feudal lord of Sheikh clan whereas Sheikhs were fined Rs 1.3 million for murdering 3 people from Janwari clan. The jirga directed both the clans to remain at peace in future.
