Lahore: Two youngsters make worlds largest cricket ball

Two youngsters made the worlds largest cricket ball and unveiled it on Thursday.

On one side the Pakistani cricket team defeated the West Indies to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup and on the other side two youngsters, Qamar Siddique and Muhammad Azeem, made the world’s largest cricket ball. As the people were celebrating the win over West Indies, the two youngsters unveiled their cricket ball in Mozang.It took them 15 days to build the ball which weighs 42 kilogrammes. The ball was made with the same material that is used in professional cricket. It took material equivalent to 300 balls to make the world’s largest ball. Qamar Siddique and Muhammad Azeem appealed that their names should be written in the Guinness Book of World Records. The ball was recorded to be 32 inches tall and 95 inches wide. Siddique and Azeem said that if Pakistan cricket team won the World Cup, they will present the ball as a gift to the team.
