Govt conspiring against Army, ISI, says Altaf

MQM chief has accused government of conspiring against national institutions, including Army.

Altaf Hussain said the government is not only taking anti-people steps, but also conspiring against institutions crucial to national security and solidarity such as the Army and the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).He said weakening national security institutions is tantamount to weakening Pakistan. The government was also indulging in political victimisation, particularly of the MQM.The MQM chief said his party always stood by the government in the hour of need, but the party now feels being backstabbed.
