Shahbaz Sharif arrives in China on official visit

Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif arrives in China for a five-day official visit with a 15 member delegation.

Talking to the media at the Lahore Airport, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said during the visit dialogues would be held for cooperation on various sectors which included a transport road networks and electricity infrastructures. Shahbaz said that agreements will be made rather than memorandums of understanding. He also said that keeping in view the drone attacks, cooperation with China should increase.Shahbaz said that a 120 megawatt power plant would also be constructed in Taunsa with help from China. He also expressed hope that the visit to China would further strengthen the existing friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
