President appoints Moula Bakhsh Chandio as law minister

Advocate Farooq Awan appointed as Advisor to Law Minister.

President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday appointed Senator Moula Bakhsh Chandio as the new Law Minister and Advocate Farooq Awan as Advisor to Law Minister.According to President’s Spokesperson Farhatullah Babar, the president made these appointments on the advice of Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani. He said that both would take oath of the office on Saturday.It is pertinent to mention here, former law minister Babar Awan resigned to plead ZAB reference case in Supreme Court.Senator Moula Bakhsh Chandio belongs to District Nawabshah and is considered as one of the senior PPP workers, while Farooq Awan is younger brother of former law minister Babar Awan.
