Karachi YDA protests to express solidarity with Punjab doctors

The Karachi Young Doctors Association (YDA) protested against the termination of doctors in Punjab.

Doctors from Jinnah Hospital, the Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases and the National Institute of Child Health protested on Tuesday to condemn the termination of their colleagues, who were demanding for salary raise in Punjab.The doctors said that salaries of doctors in Sindh were even lesser than that in Punjab so their salaries should also be raised. Karachi YDA warned that doctors in Karachi could also go on strike for their rights.
