Chinese experts said a top court decision on the fate of a house after a divorce is aimed at discouraging young women from worshiping money.The Chinese Supreme Court ruled a house will return to the possession of the person who owned it before the marriage in the case of divorce and lawyer Hu Jiachu said the decision is aimed at discouraging women from marrying for property, The Daily Telegraph (Britain) reported Monday.Hopefully this will help educate younger people, especially younger women, to be more independent, and to think of marriage in the right way rather than worshiping money so much, Hu said.Wang Zhiguo, a consultant at Beijing-based matchmaking Web site Baihe, said recent years have seen an increase in the number of young women valuing wealth over love.There are more and more girls who want to marry rich men and improve their financial position. It has been a really notable increase, Wang said. Most pretty girls now try to trade on their beauty. It is an unhealthy trend and the government is now trying to restrict it.
