Sheikhupura: Three killed as car plunges into canal
A speeding car fell into canal near Sheikhupura on Monday, killing 3 people and injuring 6 others.
SHEIKHUPURA (Dunya News) – Three people of the same family were killed and six others sustained injuries when a speeding car fell into canal in Khanpur area near Sheikhupura on Monday, Dunya News reported.
The ill-fated family was returning to their home after attending an engagement function in Khangah Dogran. The car they were traveling in plunged into canal in Khanpur area due to over-speeding. Three people including a woman and a child were killed while six other were wounded.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and recovered the dead bodies from canal and shifted the injured to the District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.
